Our youth are our future! We should all feel proud and happy about the youth of Project GRAD. This year, students from San Fernando High School made the Hansen Dam basin the focus of their studies, and the wisdom and vision they display in their presentations gives us hope that the next generation will be better stewards of the earth. Their optimistic idealism, untainted by self-promotion or greed, blows like a breath of fresh wind through the northeast valley. The students created some very impressive three-dimensional displays, but due to limitations of technology, we're only able to share two of their projects on this website: 1) To help visitors' appreciation of our beautiful basin, the students prepared this BROCHURE. 2) To summarize their findings and recommendations, the students created this POWERPOINT presentation (here rendered into an Acrobat Reader file). Project GRAD helps prepare outstanding local students for their future. As you examine their brochure and presentation, however, you may come to agree with us that however much Project GRAD is helping the students, the students are helping all of US even more. Bravo to the visionary youth of Project GRAD...! |
