During the height of the Save-the-Lakes crisis last year, a mysterious publication suddenly appeared out of nowhere -- the Hansen Dam Papers. The anonymous author may be one person, or perhaps a group of people, but everyone agrees that the Hansen Dam Papers are real eye-openers. Many people credit the Papers for playing a pivotal role in energizing and activating citizens of the northeast valley. And most agree with "Publius" that "There can be no democracy without an informed citizenry." Many thanks to the kind souls who responded to our urgent requests for electronic copies of the Hansen Dam Papers. It has taken some time to collect all the files, but we're proud to say that we think we have the full collection here. PLEASE NOTE, however, that the Hansen Dam Papers are posted on this website solely as a service to the community, in the spirit of providing information, food for thought, and spirited democratic debate. The Papers do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Tujunga Watershed Stakeholders or the administrators of this website.
